Sichuan University, Southwest Jiaotong University and Southwest University are well-known.

I am in Hubei University. Hubei University is OK if you choose to study liberal arts, but I hate the city of Wuhan. Wuhan University of Technology is a little better than Hubei University. Certainly not as good as Shanghai University.

But the key is to look at the profession.
