What is Dr Pepper?
Dr pepper is a caramel carbonated drink.

Dr. Pepper, whose Chinese names are often translated as: Dr. Pepper, Dr. Piper, Bei Le, Peng Quan, etc. , is a caramel carbonated beverage produced by Dr Pepper/Seven Up, which is located in downtown Dallas, Texas and a subsidiary of Cadbury Swayze.

W.W. Clements, president and former CEO of Dr Pepper/Seven Up, said, "I have always advocated that you can't describe the taste of Dr Pepper to others because this drink is so special.

It doesn't taste like apples, oranges or strawberries, nor does it taste like root beer or Coca-Cola. "And put the taste of Dr Pepper in a separate category.

Name source:

There are many theories about the origin of the name "Dr Pepper". One of the conjectures is that Dr Pepper's "pep" is derived from pepsin.

In 2009, a man named Bill Waters visited an antique shop in Texas and found an old account book full of cookbooks and recipes.

Several pages and attached stationery show that this old account book comes from W.B. Morrison and Old Corner Pharmaceutical Company (W.B. Morrison &; Co. Old Corner Pharmacy), and from the faded handwriting on the cover of the account book, it is recognized that the cover reads "Cassels Formula" (Castilla's formula set, John Cassels is Morrison's old partner).
