Orange island
Orange Island is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, located in the vast Xiangjiang River, surrounded by water, and known as "the first continent in the world". It is the longest inland river oasis in the world, with famous mountains in the west and ancient pavilions and heavenly hearts in the east, stretching for ten miles. Formed in 305 AD, it was formed by dumping and unloading sediment from the north to Xiangjiang River. It has a history of 1700 years. As early as the Tang Dynasty, Orange Island was famous for its beautiful oranges. Historical records record that "there are many beautiful oranges in the world, hence the name". For this reason, the poet Du Fu once wrote the poem "Taoyuan people changed the system, and the farmland in Orange Island is still fertile". 1925, Comrade Mao Zedong wrote "Qinyuanchun Changsha" here.

Traffic strategy:
Bus? : 1, 2, 1 1 get off at "orange island bridge east" station. There are stairs nearby to take the Orange Island Bridge, with an approach bridge in the middle. You can go down to Juzizhou Scenic Area and walk for about 20-30 minutes.
Subway? Take Metro Line 2, exit at Exit 2 of "Orange Island" Station, and get there directly (it is most convenient to take the subway).
Walking: You can get in and out of Orange Island through the south and north branch bridges and footbridges next to Orange Island Bridge.
Riding a horse? It is forbidden to ride in the scenic spot. You can ride a bike to the entrance of the scenic spot and park your car in the non-motor vehicle parking lot set under the south and north branch bridges of Orange Island Scenic Spot.

1, Mao Zedong Youth Art Sculpture
As the largest landscape project in the Orange Island Scenic Area in Changsha, the young Mao Zedong art sculpture takes the image of young Mao Zedong from 65438 to 0925 as the prototype, highlighting the ambitious and youthful image of Mao Zedong.
2. Wangjiang Pavilion
Wangjiang Pavilion is located in the middle of the framework of Wangjiang Pavilion, and you have a promenade for tourists to rest. Because it is located in the empty orange island, it will be the best place to overlook the beautiful scenery of Xiangjiang River. Standing in Wangjiangge, you can not only see the scene of hundreds of people fighting in the river, but also overlook the traffic on both sides of the Xiangjiang River. It was built in the Qing Dynasty, and the present pavilion was rebuilt in 2008. This is a scenic spot with a long history. The main pavilion is square, supported by terrazzo columns and with light yellow glazed tiles on double eaves, which is elegant and solemn.
3. Juzhou Cultural Park
Located in the north of Mao Zedong, the youth art sculpture covers an area of about 60 mu, and the plant configuration is mainly citrus reticulata? Mainly the largest orange orchard in the city at present. An antique pavilion gallery was newly built in the orange garden, and elegant black pine with a pole diameter of 50 cm was planted in front of the pavilion, forming a charming garden landscape. The historical buildings preserved in the park include Orange Island Inn and the former Tianlun Paper Mill? . Juzhou Inn was built in the Republic of China. It is a two-story brick-wood building with blue tiles and gray walls, covering an area of 438 square meters.

In case of heavy rain, Orange Island will be closed, so please pay attention to the weather before going.
Every year on New Year's Day, Lantern Festival, May Day and Labor Day, there will be fireworks displays in the evening.
4. Be sure to bring water. The water in Orange Island Scenic Area is not cheap, and there are few shops.
5. Civilized tourism, don't trample on the lawn, don't pick oranges and other fruits!
