George Mei Sen University (GMU or Mei Sen for short) was formally established in 1972, located in the center of the Science and Technology Corridor near Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia. It is a key university that has risen rapidly in the United States in recent ten years.

George Mei Sen University, formerly known as the University of Virginia Affiliated College (established in 1954), is determined to expand its scale after independence. Economics is the most famous discipline, and other quite important disciplines include public policy, psychology, engineering, computer, law, mass communication and music.
