Professor. Born in 1955, 1980 graduated from Tsinghua University Radio Department, and 1983 and 1999 received master's and doctor's degrees in engineering from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China respectively. 1990- 199 1 studied at osaka university of electric communication in Japan for one year, 1999-2000 worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the university of hong kong. He used to be a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Optoelectronic Information, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and a senior member of Chinese Institute of Electronics.
