One method is to judge roughly from the type and quantity of insulators on the line; Secondly, you can also judge by the words on the sign hanging on the power tower. For example, some flags can indicate the name of the line. If you look at the Three Gorges-Shanghai EHV transmission line, it is undoubtedly 500 kV. You will know that it is 1000KV when you see the southeast Shanxi-Jingmen line in Hubei. There is also a sign that directly writes the voltage level (this is usually on the line sign of 35KV, 1 10KV).

There are two ways to distinguish: the first is to count the high-voltage insulators of high-voltage lines, including 10KV 1-2 insulators, 35KV 3 insulators, 60KV 5 insulators, 1 10KV 7 insulators, 220KV 14 insulators, and 330KW.

The second is to look at the height. The higher the cable, the higher the voltage level. 1 10KV vertical distance between upper and lower conductors is greater than 3.5m, and 220KV is greater than 5.5m.. The above is a single pole and a single horizontal arrangement. If it is a single-pole multi-vertical arrangement, the vertical distance is 0.5 meters.
