Gustav mahler (1860 July 7th-191May 18) was born in karis, Bohemia, and graduated from the Vienna Conservatory of Music, an Austrian composer and conductor. Gustav mahler was born in a Jewish family in, Askin, karis, Bohemia (now Czech Republic). He showed his musical talent in his childhood. At the age of six, he took part in a piano competition. At the age of eight, he was able to teach other children. He entered the Vienna Conservatory of Music at the age of fifteen and later studied composition and conducting.
