Hosei University is a private university in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. In the report published by Japan Enterprise Rating Investment Information Center in June 2003, Hosei University was awarded "AA-" rating. This is the first time that this evaluation has been obtained in a Japanese university. Companies at this level include Fuji TV, Tokyo Mitsubishi Bank, Hitachi, Japan Post, Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsui & Co., Ltd. and other well-known Japanese companies. Hosei University opened a crash course in law and politics for international students in Qing Dynasty at 1904. Many crash course graduates, such as Chen Tianhua, Song Hehu, the authors of Looking Back and Jing Shi Zhong, and Shen Junru, the former president of the Supreme People's Court, have become outstanding talents in China's modernization drive.
