1. To apply for an American education major, students need to provide TOEFL or IELTS and GRE scores. At the same time, because it is a liberal arts major, it requires higher language scores. Most TOP 100 schools require TOEFL scores above 100. GRE should be above 3 10, and schools that want to apply for higher rankings should be above 320.
2. The average GPA of students applying for this major is between 3.5 and 3.7, and the minimum GPA application requirement of most schools is above 3.0. Therefore, students should keep their GPA during their college years, preferably above 3.4/4.0.
3. In the application documents, most schools only need to submit PS, and some schools will require students to submit ESSAY. If you apply for a doctorate in education, a TESOL major, or a partial master's degree, you will be required to submit an extra 10-20 page of writing samples or articles or essays written by students themselves. Some schools will require students to provide papers submitted during their college years to prove their writing ability and foundation.
4. If you apply for an education management major, some schools will set it up under the MBA branch of the business school. If it is an MBA, you need the applicant to provide GMAT scores.
