Beijing Foreign Studies University (hereinafter referred to as Beijing Foreign Studies University) directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) ranks among the first batch of "2 1 1 projects" in China, and has been selected into "985 Engineering Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform", "201/Plan" and "National Construction of High-level Universities". As one of the six "small-scale pilot universities" of the Ministry of Finance, the first batch of "double-first-class" world-class discipline construction universities in China, and a member of the International Federation of University Translation Colleges, it is a Sino-Japanese humanities exchange university with a graduate school. It is a national key university in China with a long history, the largest number of languages taught and a complete school level, and is known as the "cradle of China diplomats".
2. Shanghai International Studies University
Shanghai International Studies University, referred to as "Shanghai International Studies University" for short, is the first foreign language institution established after the founding of New China. It is one of the cradles of foreign language education in New China. Directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and jointly established with the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. The first batch entered the national "2 1 1 project" and "double-class". Selected as a national postgraduate project to build a high-level university and a scholarship institution of the China government to receive overseas students in China.
3. Sichuan International Studies University
Sichuan International Studies University, referred to as "Chuanwai", is located in Chongqing, a municipality directly under the central government. It is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the people of China and the Ministry of Education. With a complete bachelor's, master's and doctor's training system, it is one of the important bases for training foreign languages, foreign-related talents and studying foreign languages and cultures, foreign trade and international issues in southwest China.
4. Dalian International Studies University
Dalian International Studies University, located in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China, is a provincial university in Liaoning Province. It is a multi-disciplinary foreign language university which focuses on foreign languages, and the disciplines of literature, management, economics, engineering, law and art support each other and develop in a coordinated way.
Dalian International Studies University, formerly known as Dalian Japanese College, was founded in 1964. Under the care of Premier Zhou Enlai and other party and state leaders, it aims to train Japanese translators urgently needed by the country. 1970 was renamed as Liaoning Foreign Studies University, 1978 was upgraded to Dalian Foreign Studies University, 1986 was awarded a master's degree, and it was renamed as Dalian Foreign Studies University on 20 13. On 20/3, it was approved to serve the national special needs doctor training program.
5. Tianjin Foreign Studies University
Tianjin Foreign Studies University (English name: Tianjin Foreign Studies University) is located in the northern economic center and the port city of Tianjin. It is the only institution of higher learning in Tianjin with complete foreign languages, coordinated development of literature, economics, management, law, teaching, arts and engineering, and distinctive features. It is also one of the eight independent foreign language colleges in China, and it is the receiving institution of China government to provide scholarships for international students in China. One of the predecessors of Tianjin Foreign Studies University is Tianjin Technology and Business University, which was founded in 192 1. The main predecessor was Qinhuangdao Foreign Languages Institute, which was founded in 1964 and later renamed Hebei Foreign Languages Institute and Tianjin Foreign Languages Institute. 1974 The school was restored and renamed Tianjin Foreign Studies University, and was later renamed Tianjin Foreign Studies University with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
