Yang Ping, male, 1964, born in August, professor, doctoral supervisor, party member. At present, he is the president of the College of Civil Engineering, the director of the provincial civil engineering basic experimental teaching demonstration center, and the director of the Institute of Geotechnical and Underground Engineering. Jiangsu famous teacher, selected as one of the "Six Talent Peaks", the leader of "Blue Project" among young and middle-aged people in Jiangsu Province, and the first outstanding geotechnical engineer in Jiangsu Province. He presided over and participated in more than 60 national key scientific and technological projects, ministerial, provincial and horizontal scientific research projects, and won the third prize of provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress and the second prize of departmental level. Jiangsu Province won the first prize of teaching achievement 1, presided over the provincial excellent course 1, and published 89 papers in national journals and international academic conferences, among which 18 papers won the second and third prizes of provincial excellent papers or were included in SCI, EI and ISTP, and the chief editor and deputy editor published 5 planning textbooks, of which 2 won provincial prizes. In 2003, he went to Voronezh University of Architecture and Engineering and Voronezh University of Forestry and Engineering in Russia for a short-term academic exchange visit. In 2005, he became a senior visiting scholar at the National University of Singapore.

Major scientific research achievements

1. Research on frozen wall strength and its parameters appraised by the state key project (75 120404) is internationally advanced, partly internationally advanced, and won the third prize of the Ministry of Energy for scientific and technological progress, and was the second person in charge;

2. Study on the physical and mechanical properties of frozen-thawed soil in Nanjing Metro and the key technology of artificial freezing, the project of Nanjing Metro Co., Ltd.
