Conditions for changing majors:
1. Students who apply to change their major should, in principle, reach the minimum admission score for the year in which they plan to change their major.
2. Students can't change majors many times during their study in school.
3. In any of the following circumstances, you may not apply for changing your major:
(1) freshmen have been enrolled for less than one semester;
(2) from the next batch of majors where students are enrolled to the last batch of majors, or from low academic level to high academic level;
(3) When enrolling students, the state has clearly defined special types of professional students, such as index students, instruction students, national defense students, transfer students, etc., and the directional entrusted training is determined when enrolling students;
(4) interdisciplinary;
(5) Students from other provinces are transferred to majors without enrollment plans in the province;
(6) Bachelor's degree, junior college (higher vocational), grade three or above;
(7) You should drop out of school.
The regulations of some schools are more humane and scientific, as follows: In any of the following circumstances, students are allowed to apply for major changes:
1. After the planned examination of changing majors, students do have their own professional learning expertise;
2. All related majors should give priority to students from other colleges (departments) who meet the requirements of changing majors. The school allows some outstanding undergraduates to re-select their majors conditionally. Excellent students with excellent moral character, outstanding achievements, accumulated average credit scores of compulsory courses of 80 points or above in Grade One, and professional ranking within the forefront can be enrolled (but according to the actual situation of the course, within the scope permitted by national policies, similar disciplines can be adjusted to each other). Outstanding students with a cumulative average credit score of 80 or above and a professional ranking in the forefront are generally transferred between majors specified in the Catalogue of Undergraduate Majors in Colleges and Universities. According to the number of students acceptable to each major, the school implements merit-based admission.
