I have long yearned for Guangzhou University Town. In the past, I just passed by by car and looked far by car, and I already felt the heroism of the university town. But I have never walked through the university town to see it myself. Comrade Kim Jong Il made a special trip to visit. In contrast, I am close at hand, but I can't visit. It's so unreasonable. Before the winter vacation and the start of school, I finally "turned around" and visited the university town. Take more than ten bus stops, then take the seventh stop of Metro Line 2, change to Metro Line 4 at Wanshengwei, and take three stops to the south of Higher Education Mega Center. Enough to "toss and turn".

Walking out of the mega center south of higher education, the vision is broad, the buildings in the university town are hidden in dense plants, the roads are spacious, and the leaves are falling. Because it is winter vacation, it is sparsely populated. The whole university town is quiet, so quiet that people feel a little empty and desolate.

We mainly visit from south to north, or take a walk in a huge park. We passed the campuses of South China University of Technology, University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, University of Foreign Studies and Sun Yat-sen University, passed the ecological park and sports center, and entered the student living area of University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. There are few roads due south and north of the university town, and there are few roads due east and west, which makes us take a lot of "wrong" roads, but also allows us to see more things.

My first impression of the university town is big. It's a long way from one campus to another, so it's impossible to visit these ten universities all day. Ten universities are relatively independent, and some facilities are shared by * * *. This may also be one of the benefits of building a university town.

The second feeling about the university town is silence. In such a big city, because it is a holiday, there are few students, pedestrians and vehicles, and the university town seems to be an empty city. Next to the ecological park, some people are flying kites, some foreigners and China people are playing butterfly games, and some people are fishing by the lake. The popularity here is still quite sufficient.

The third feeling about the university town is that it is closed. The University Town is located in Xiaoguwei Island, Panyu, surrounded by universities, and it feels isolated. This may help to create a strong style of study so that students can concentrate on their studies, but I feel that this university town is like an "ivory island", too elegant, too detached and even too proud.

I will never deny the science, rationality, momentum and style of the university town, but I finally know the reason why my daughter is determined not to go to university in the university town. I am even glad that she is not enclosed in this ivory island. The university she is attending now is the society, the market and the reality of life.

Guangzhou University Town is still great, which is the product of Guangdong's great economic development. It can surprise foreigners!
