Brief introduction of Chen Hong
Chen Hong, Dean and Professor, School of Literature, Nankai University. Former Chairman and Dean of Binhai College of Nankai University. Born in Qixia County, Shandong Province (now Qixia City, Shandong Province), 1948 was born in Tianjin in July. He studied in Nankai Middle School in 1960s, went to the countryside in June 1968/kloc-0, and was admitted to Nankai University as a graduate student in June 1978/kloc-0. He studied under Wang Dajin's History of China Literary Criticism. 198 1 master's degree. The title of the thesis is "A theoretical study of Jin Shengtan's novels". He stayed on as a teacher, 1985 served as the director of the teaching and research section of China ancient literature, 1988 was promoted to associate professor, 199 1 was promoted to professor. Courses such as the history of China's literary criticism, the history of ancient Chinese literature, the history of China's thoughts, and the history of China's novel theory have been set up successively, and more than 50 master's and doctoral students have been instructed in the fields of Ming and Qing literature, China's literary criticism, Ming and Qing novels and novel theory criticism. He used to be the executive vice president of Nankai University, the dean of the College of Literature, and the dean of the Institute of Cross-cultural Exchange. He is also an adjunct professor in university of regina, East China Normal University, Harbin Institute of Technology and Tianjin University, an academic member of the research base of the history of ancient literary thoughts of Fudan University, and an academic member of the National College of China Renmin University. He is also the director of the Chinese Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, the vice president of China Ancient Literary Theory Society, the vice president of China Ming Literature Society and the president of Tianjin Literature Society. He used to be the editorial board of Literary Heritage, the editorial board of Guangming Daily's literary heritage column, the editorial board of China's ancient novel research, and the editorial board of Tianjin Social Sciences.
