1, university environment
The school currently has two campuses, Binhai and Hexi. Among them, Binhai main campus is located in Bincheng, one of the twin cities in Tianjin, adjacent to Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park, Sino-Singapore Eco-city, National Ocean Museum, TEDA Aircraft Carrier Theme Park and Tanggu Forest Park.
Hexi Campus is located in Liulin District of Haihe River, one of Tianjin's sub-centers, adjacent to Tianjin Cultural Center, International Design Center, National Convention and Exhibition Center, Binhai International Airport and Haihe Education Park.
2. Teaching staff
The school attaches great importance to the construction of teaching staff, and has formed a team of teachers with noble morality, exquisite business, reasonable structure and full of vitality by continuously increasing the introduction and training of talents. There are more than 2,000 faculty members, including more than 400 full-time teachers/kloc-0, and 794 doctoral and master's tutors.
3. Professional disciplines
The school has 14 professional colleges and 7/kloc-0 undergraduate majors, among which 12 majors such as bioengineering, food science and engineering, light chemical engineering, packaging engineering, chemical engineering and technology, polymer materials and engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, environmental science, process equipment and control, industrial design, financial management and logistics management have been selected as national first-class undergraduate majors.
International school exchange
The school has established cooperation and exchange relations with more than 80 universities and scientific research institutions in more than 30 countries, including the United States, Japan, Australia, Canada, Germany, Sweden and Finland. On the basis of China-US projects, China-Australia, China-Japan and China-UK projects will be added, and 1+2+ 1, 2+2 and 3+2 joint training agreements will be signed with foreign universities such as the University of California, the University of Georgia, the University of Ottawa, Nagasaki University and university of lodz.
In-depth scientific research and student exchanges have been conducted with foreign universities such as New Brown zwick University, University of Sydney, Finland and Lapland University of Technology, and more than 600 international experts and scholars have been invited to give lectures.
