Seven school-level key disciplines such as basic mathematics, linguistics and applied linguistics, theoretical physics, applied chemistry, principles of education, China ancient literature, curriculum and teaching theory, and 26 school-level key supporting disciplines such as China ancient history have been established. The school has two provincial key laboratories, namely, Food Quality, Safety and Functional Food Research Laboratory and Applied Chemistry Laboratory, and bohai university Applied Linguistics Research Center is a provincial key research base for humanities and social sciences.
