Zeng Zhaoxuan,192165438+born in February, 1943 received a bachelor's degree in geography from Sun Yat-sen University, and 1946 received a master's degree in anthropology from Sun Yat-sen University. He used to be a professor and acting dean of Guangdong University of Arts and Sciences, head of the Department of Geography of South China Normal University and visiting professor of Sun Yat-sen University. Member of the 6th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, director of China Geography Society, Folklore Society, Pacific History Society, Ancient Capital Society and Natural Science History Society, honorary director of Coastal Estuary Society and honorary president of Geomorphology Research Society. Permanent member of Geological Society and honorary member of Quaternary Research Society of China Academy of Sciences. Editor-in-chief of Tropical Geomorphology for more than 20 years. Tropical landform

Professor Zeng attaches great importance to the role of matter in the development of geomorphology, and is a pioneer and representative in the field of rock geomorphology research in China. From the perspective of geology and petrology, the red beds and landforms in northern Guangdong were studied in the 1940s, and a large number of articles were published on the red beds and Danxia landforms in southeastern China. 1960 published the monograph "Rock Topography", 198 1 co-authored with Huang the part of "Red Bed Geomorphology and Granite Geomorphology" in, systematically discussed the rock characteristics, structural changes and external forces of China Red Bed and Danxia Geomorphology, which will develop on red sandstone.
