Chongqing University (CQU) is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), which is jointly built by the Ministry of Education, Chongqing Municipality and the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. It ranks among the "World-class University Construction University (Class A)", "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project".
