Zhejiang Ocean University (Zhejiang? Ocean? University), referred to as "Zhejiang University", is located in Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. It is a university jointly established by the people of China, the Ministry of Natural Resources and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, and a key university jointly established by the Education Department of Zhejiang Province and the People's Government of Zhoushan City. It is a pilot university of the new engineering research and practice project of the Ministry of Education, the new agricultural research and reform practice project of the Ministry of Education, and the reform project of the national agricultural and forestry talents education and training plan. As a member of the Yangtze River Delta High-level University Alliance with Industrial Characteristics, it has built a national experimental teaching demonstration center, a national off-campus practical education base for college students, a field practice base of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (* * *) and the first island field survival teaching experimental base in China.
