The School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence originated from the Information Department of Oujiang College of Wenzhou Normal University (now Wenzhou University) established in 2000 (later renamed Information Branch). 202 1 With the establishment of Wenzhou Institute of Technology and the transformation to a public undergraduate college, the college was renamed as the College of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
The college has three departments: Computer and Software Department, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Department, Mathematics and Statistics Department and Public Education Department. There are six undergraduate majors, including computer science and technology, mathematics and applied mathematics, applied statistics, data science and big data technology, artificial intelligence and software engineering. Computer science and technology is a first-class major in Zhejiang Province.
There are more than 80 faculty members, including more than 60 full-time teachers, more than 30 associate professors and above, and 4 national and provincial talents. He has successively won more than 20 provincial excellent teachers, provincial teaching rookies, municipal excellent teachers, municipal excellent counselors and municipal 55 1 talents.

The college strengthens the integration of production, education and science and education. In conjunction with well-known companies in the industry, such as HPE, DXC, China Unicom and Zhejiang Yilian Network Technology Co., Ltd., we will establish a number of practice bases, such as the digital economy production and education integration base, the international cloud software valley digital economy production and education integration base, and the big data and software production and education integration base.
Obtained the first batch of key teaching materials and a number of teaching reform projects in the "14 th Five-Year Plan" of ordinary undergraduate universities in Zhejiang Province.
