Gannan Teachers College is located in Ganzhou, a national historical and cultural city and a sub-central city of Jiangxi Province, enjoying the reputation of "Song Cheng in the south of the Yangtze River", "Cradle of Hakka" and "Red Old Capital". The school was founded in June 1958, when it was an empty school of Gannan Normal University.
