Inner Mongolia Agricultural University has two campuses, north and south. As of September, 20 17, the school has animal science college, veterinary college, agricultural college, forestry college, ecological environment college, electromechanical engineering college, water conservancy and civil engineering college.

School of Materials Science and Art Design, School of Economics and Management, School of Food Science and Engineering, School of Computer and Information Engineering, School of Life Sciences, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Foreign Languages, School of Science, School of Energy and Transportation Engineering.

There are 22 colleges (departments) such as Marxism College, International Education College, Continuing Education College (Agricultural University Branch of Central Agricultural Cadre Education and Training Center), Vocational and Technical College and Physical Education Department.

Among them, Vocational and Technical College of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University is the construction unit of national higher vocational education demonstration colleges, with 1 national key disciplines, 3 national key cultivation disciplines and 23 provincial and ministerial key disciplines.

Autonomous region level construction discipline 1 1; At present, there are 10 postdoctoral research stations, 13 first-class discipline doctoral degree authorization points, 24 first-class discipline master degree authorization points and 8 master degree authorization categories.

Schools continue to strengthen foreign exchanges. By September of 20 17, it had established inter-school cooperation and academic exchange relations with more than 60 universities and scientific research institutions in more than ten countries, including Canada, the United States, Japan and Mongolia.
