Graduated from Tsinghua University Electronic Engineering Department (formerly Radio Electronics Department) 1983, majoring in radio technology and information system,

1985, Master of Communication and Electronic Systems, Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University.

1990 obtained the doctor's degree of engineering in semiconductor devices and microelectronics technology in Tsinghua University.

1992- 1993, doing postdoctoral research at Carnegie Mellon University.

1993 to 1994, went to the University of Leuven in Belgium for further study.

1resumed work in June 1994.

1July, 1983, worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Radio and Electronics, Tsinghua University.

1988 1 promoted to lecturer, 1994 was promoted to associate professor and 1997 was promoted to professor respectively.

Since September 2000, he has served as deputy director of Tsinghua University Institute of Microelectronics. Professor Wang Zhihua is also the chairman of Beijing Branch of IEEE Solid State Circuits Society, the chairman of Committee C of China Committee of International Radio Union (URSI), an adjunct professor of Institute of Automation of China Academy of Sciences, and a visiting scholar of outstanding professional and technical talents in Jinan, Shandong.
