Hebei Vocational College of Geology was founded in 1979. It is an independent public junior college approved by the People's Government of Hebei Province and put on record by the Ministry of Education. In 2003, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be included in the enrollment series of general higher education. The school has accumulated more than 40 years of successful experience in running schools and trained a large number of outstanding talents for the society. The school has been awarded the title of "Civilized Unit" by the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government for fifteen consecutive years. Students who meet the graduation requirements of this major within the time limit stipulated by the school will be awarded the diploma of junior college degree (certificate type is general higher education diploma) which is electronically registered by the Ministry of Education and recognized by the state.

First, the admission rules:

1. Strictly implement the enrollment policies of the Ministry of Education and the province, and conduct a comprehensive assessment of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, beauty and labor based on the principle of "justice, fairness and openness" and select the best candidates.

2. Physical health requirements: according to the requirements of relevant majors in the Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination of Enrollment in Ordinary Colleges and Universities.

3. For candidates who enter the archives, arrange majors according to the principle of voluntary priority. If the first choice can't be satisfied, consider the follow-up professional choice in turn; When all the professional volunteers can't be admitted, if the candidates obey the professional adjustment, they can be transferred to the incomplete major; If you don't obey professional adjustment, you will be dismissed.

4, art candidates in the case of cultural achievements reached the provincial minimum control score, according to the professional achievements from high to low merit. Candidates with the same artistic professional scores are selected according to the total score of cultural achievements from high to low; If the total scores of professional and cultural achievements are the same, they will be selected according to the scores of Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages from high to low.

Candidates with the same physical education major scores are selected from high to low according to the total score of cultural achievements; If the total scores of professional and cultural achievements are the same, they will be selected according to the scores of Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages from high to low.

6. For non-art and non-sports candidates with the same scores, the candidates of literature and history should be selected from high to low according to the scores of Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages, and the candidates of science and engineering should be selected from high to low according to the scores of mathematics, Chinese and foreign languages.

7. Candidates who enjoy extra points or lower points shall be taken care of in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education and the Admissions Committee of this province.

8. Candidates are not limited to foreign languages, and the foreign language teaching language of each major is English during school.

9. After the freshmen report for duty, the school should review their admission qualifications and physical examination. Those who practise fraud and do not meet the admission requirements will be disqualified.

Iii. Funding Policy: (1) National Scholarship: Award outstanding students with the award standard of 8,000 yuan/year/student; (2) National Inspirational Scholarship: subsidizing students from poor families with excellent academic performance, with an award standard of 5,000 yuan/year/student; (3) State grants: the subsidy for students from poor families is 3,000 yuan per year; (4) School-level Scholarships: Award standard first-class scholarship 600 yuan/year/student, second-class scholarship 400 yuan/year/student, and third-class scholarship 200 yuan/year/student.
