Shixin University, located in Taibei City, Taiwan Province Province, China, is the number one communication university in Taiwan Province Province. Since being elected as the teaching excellence program of Taiwan's education department in 2004, it has been selected as a teaching excellence university every year.

Founder Cheng Shewo founded Beiping Journalism College on 1933. After the National Government moved to Taiwan, 1956 was founded in Taiwan Province, and 1997 was renamed Shixin University. The Department of Journalism and Communication of Shixin University has been established for many years. Its position in Taiwan Province Province is equivalent to "Communication University of China" in Chinese mainland, and it is a well-known talent training base in the media. 1997 Established Communication College, the first private school and the only one in Taiwan Province Province, and awarded doctoral degrees.
