The general process for mainland students to apply for a student visa is:
1, fill in the visa application (schools and individual students fill in an application document); And send the documents to the Hong Kong Immigration Department;
2. If the student visa application is approved, the Immigration Bureau will send a visa approval letter to the school and/or other mailing address you fill in, and you will go to Hong Kong with this approval letter and/or entrust others to obtain a visa/entry permit from the Immigration Bureau of Hong Kong;
3. With this visa/entry permit, go back to the Exit-Entry Administration of the Public Security Bureau where the mainland account is located to apply for a pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao (a certificate for mainlanders to travel to and from Hong Kong and Macao, similar to a passport) and a stay visa issued by the mainland;
4. After obtaining the above-mentioned pass, leave the mainland port and enter Hong Kong within the specified time; And handle temporary id card within 30 days.
