1, the examination object is limited to undergraduates or postgraduates who have completed CET-4 according to the education syllabus for four years or more in ordinary colleges and universities.

2. College students or graduate students with the same level can sign up for the exam in our school with the consent of their school.

3. Students of the same level in Night University or Correspondence University can sign up for the exam in our school with the consent of their school.

Examination purpose:

The purpose of this examination is to assess the ability of sophomores majoring in English to comprehensively use basic skills and their mastery of English knowledge such as pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and discourse. This exam belongs to the standard reference teaching exam. The examination covers listening, reading and writing skills, as well as grammar and vocabulary knowledge.

In order to effectively assess students' comprehensive ability to use basic skills, taking into account the scientificity, objectivity and feasibility of the examination, this examination adopts a variety of questions to ensure the validity and reliability of the examination. This exam consists of six parts: dictation, listening comprehension, language knowledge, cloze, reading comprehension and writing. The whole exam takes 130 minutes.
