2 overall planning, guidance of all kinds of higher education personnel training work, organize the development of undergraduate professional directory, basic requirements of personnel training and other guiding documents.
3. Plan and guide the teaching reform in colleges and universities, and organize the implementation of major teaching reform projects. Plan and guide the short-term training of college teachers (including laboratory personnel and teaching management personnel). Organize experts related to higher education to organize and guide their work.
4. Formulating the principles, policies and documents of teaching evaluation of various higher education, coordinating all kinds of higher education evaluation, and organizing and guiding the evaluation of educational quality and teaching work of higher education. Organize and carry out the work of rewarding and commending the teaching achievements of national higher education.
5. Formulate relevant guidelines, policies and rules and regulations on the work of libraries and laboratory construction in colleges and universities. Guide the construction of teaching materials in colleges and universities.
6. Cooperate with relevant departments within the Ministry to carry out overall work such as higher education system reform and structural layout adjustment.
7. Macroscopically guide the personnel training work of the education management institutions of other ministries and commissions in the State Council and the education administrative departments of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government.
8. Provide various information services for higher education and teaching.
