The College of Medical Devices and Food Science mainly focuses on the engineering of medical devices and bioengineering.

The school has established the core position of innovation and entrepreneurship education in the training of engineering talents, and established the whole process and full coverage innovation and entrepreneurship education system of "classroom teaching-innovation experiment-project training-enterprise incubation".

The school is the first in China to offer experimental entrepreneurship classes and the second major in entrepreneurship management.
