Warsaw University (Polish: Uniwersytet Warszawski;; Latin: Vasovici University; ; English: Warsaw University (UW), located in Warsaw, the capital and largest city of Poland, is a world-famous research university, the top institution of higher learning in Central Europe, the top 300 universities in the world and the largest institution of higher learning in Poland.
Warsaw University was founded in 18 16 with a history of more than 200 years. He is an important academic member of 4EU+ Union, European University Foundation, European University Association and European Capital University Union, and has produced seven Nobel Prize winners and five Polish Prime Ministers. Awarded the "Achievement Award of Human Resources Research" by Council of Europe.
Warsaw University was originally named "Royal University of Warsaw", later renamed "Imperial University of Warsaw", and finally the school was officially named "Warsaw University". University departments are all over Warsaw, with teaching building 126 and departments 18.
