Hetao University was founded in 1985, located in the beautiful and rich Hetao Plain. It is a national comprehensive university in western Inner Mongolia approved by the people's government of the autonomous region and filed by the Ministry of Education. 1986, the former vice president Ulanhu wrote the name of Hetao University, and since 1993, it has been continuously announced by the Ministry of Education as one of the ordinary universities with higher education enrollment qualifications.
