The only provincial undergraduate college in the southeast of Jilin Province. The school, formerly known as tonghua normal School, can be traced back to the Sixth Normal School of Liaodong Province (Tonghua) established in 1929. 1958 to tonghua normal college. 1978, upgraded to tonghua normal College.

2. Tonghua Health School

Huifa River belongs to the main tributary of Songhua River system, flows northeast along Longgang Mountain, and enters the second Songhua River through Liuhe, Meihekou, Huinan and Huadian.
