1. The school was founded in 1958 and was then called Tianmulin College. 1960 merged with Zhejiang Agricultural College to form Zhejiang Agricultural University. 1966 was renamed as Zhejiang forestry college, merged with Zhejiang agricultural university in July, and resumed running independently in February 1979.
