Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is a university jointly founded by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, state administration of traditional chinese medicine and the Ministry of Education. Chain segment is a key construction university in Zhejiang Province, and it has been selected as a national "key discipline project" construction university and a national postgraduate project construction high-level university.
The national pilot universities for the reform of "excellent doctor (Chinese medicine) education shed and reputation training plan", the national innovative talents training demonstration base, and the national college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training plan are the first universities in China to recruit and train graduate students of Chinese medicine, and also the first universities in Zhejiang Province to obtain the right to confer doctoral degrees and Post-Doctoral Research Center.
The school was founded in June 1953, when it was called Zhejiang Chinese Medicine Advanced School; Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in June, 1959. The campus is located in the former site of Zhejiang University, Chun Qing Street, Hangzhou. 1998 was granted the right to confer a doctorate; In March 2000, he moved to Hangzhou Binjiang Higher Education Park to run a school. In February 2006, it was renamed Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; 2065438+Fuchun Campus was put into use in September 2005.
As of March 2023, the school has two campuses, Wen Bin and Fuchun, covering an area of 1000 mu, with a total construction area of over 470,000 square meters. There are 18 secondary colleges (departments), 1 independent colleges (binjiang college), 4 directly affiliated hospitals and 2 1 non-directly affiliated hospitals, offering 32 undergraduate majors.
