Xi Jiaotong University, located in Xi, Shaanxi Province, is a key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It belongs to the "2 1 1 project" and "985 project" of the national "double-class" A-level construction university, and was selected as the first batch of key construction universities in the "Seventh Five-Year Plan" and "Eighth Five-Year Plan".
