1993 graduated from Hunan Normal University, 1999 received a master's degree from Hunan University, a doctorate from Shanghai Institute of Silicate, China Academy of Sciences in 2005, and a postdoctoral fellow from City University of Hong Kong in 2006. Joined Hunan University in September of the same year. In June 2008, he joined Suzhou University as an associate professor and tutor for master students. He presided over the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Universities and the Open Fund of Special Film Materials Laboratory of China Academy of Sciences.
