Take the general college entrance examination
It is more difficult for secondary school students to take the general college entrance examination, because secondary school mainly focuses on skill training and pays less attention to the knowledge in books than high school. Therefore, it is difficult to deal with the college entrance examination.
If you want to be a secondary school student and enter the university in this way, then you must make clear the subject setting of the general college entrance examination, and then you can prepare for your study with purpose and focus. Now, after the college entrance examination reform, the subjects are generally set to 3+3. The first three refer to Chinese, mathematics and English as compulsory subjects, and the last three refer to choosing three subjects from the remaining subjects as college entrance examination subjects. This is the most difficult road from middle school to university and the one with the highest gold content.
Vocational college enrolment from secondary technical schools
Counterpart enrollment means that colleges and universities recruit graduates from secondary vocational schools (including general secondary schools, vocational high schools, vocational secondary schools, adult secondary schools and technical schools) and comprehensive high schools, mainly taking cultural courses, Chinese, mathematics, English, professional basic courses and professional courses. After reaching a certain score, it will be selected by the province itself. There are two options: junior college and undergraduate course. The counterpart entrance examination is generally organized by the Provincial Education Admissions Examination Institute and enrolled in colleges and universities in this province. Tianjin and Shandong Province enroll students in the form of spring college entrance examination.
Independent enrollment in higher vocational colleges
The independent enrollment of higher vocational education is a pilot reform of enrollment examination conducted by the Ministry of Education in some provinces and cities in China in order to further establish and improve the diversified selection and admission mechanism of higher vocational education.
Higher vocational colleges enroll students separately, which belongs to full-time general higher education. Approved independent enrollment institutions independently organize proposition, examination, marking and admission. As a way authorized by the state to organize examination admission independently, the admission work should be completed before the college entrance examination. According to the relevant documents of the Ministry of Education, after the individual enrollment is confirmed, candidates will no longer take the national unified college entrance examination, and those who are not admitted can continue to take the national unified college entrance examination.
