Here are some ways to introduce you:
We all say that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and beauty is found with the eyes. Let's discuss what to think first.
1, reading a book
Step 2 watch the exhibition
You can see different forms of exhibitions, such as graphic design exhibition, industrial design exhibition, landscape painting exhibition, clothing exhibition and so on. Experience different forms of beauty.
Step 3 go to the movies
Film is actually a combination of audio and video, and many scenes of the film are carefully designed. For example, Audrey Hepburn's movie Funny Face. Some of the scenes intercepted here are very thoughtful. Like the first picture, Hepburn arranged a person to walk behind him, and with the colorful balloons fluttering on the black and white film, it was lively and lively.
Here I intercepted a frame and adjusted the color of an old woman's clothes. In Figure 2, the lightness and saturation have been improved, and the hue has changed a little, so the old woman in the picture appears abrupt. Figure 3 darkens the old woman's clothes, reducing lightness and saturation, adding some gloomy flavor to the picture, which makes people feel that the old woman is not kind enough. In the original picture, the contrast between the red and blue clothes of the old woman and the children increases the interest of the picture, and the similar lightness saturation makes the picture look more comfortable and harmonious.
Step 4 look at the materials
I will log in the petals every day and collect good materials. For some source files that are inconvenient to collect petals, such as PSD format, I will create a material folder locally and save it in font, icon, banner and other ways.
Next, let's talk more and listen more:
1, listen to concerts, concerts, and join relevant clubs.
Just like when we go to a concert. There is also connection, hierarchy and emotion in the song. Some singers are very explosive and can instantly ignite the enthusiasm of the audience. Some lyric songs can also impress the audience, arouse many thoughts and emotions, and cause * * *. We can think deeply about how we are ignited and moved. In addition to listening to songs, you can also watch the singer's modeling, stage design and lighting changes, draw inspiration from them and apply them to your work.
2, listen to industry professionals to share
Participating in some industry activities will let us know more insiders, and the exchange and collision of ideas will broaden our horizons. Sometimes it may be a sentence from a senior in an industry, which will make your long-term confusion suddenly clear. On the whole, guests who can share things on the stage will have higher aesthetic ability from the perspective of things.
Then there is more sniffing:
1, experience food
Like this photographer, the food is small and fresh, and the composition is special. Using related objects to set off the atmosphere has a refreshing feeling, which makes people feel that eating such food is a very happy thing and life is beautiful.
2. Go out and get close to nature.
For example, listen to birds and smell flowers. After all, we have been living in nature, and countless objects that appear now are inspired by nature. You can integrate your feelings about nature into your design and form your brand story.
In my spare time, I will observe the process of a potted flower from germination to withering, which will cause you to think a lot about life.
Or look at the scenery in front of you. You will find that the beauty presented in the same place will be very different at different times and in different weather.
Then practice more.
Theory should always be combined with practice. In the process of doing it, you will find more problems, and the process of solving problems will greatly promote growth. When you have time, you will also try some sports that you are interested in or need for work. These are very early exercises. Practice more, quantitative change will produce qualitative change. My own accumulation in this area is not enough.
After a lot of practice, or during practice, you should think more.
On the one hand, we should learn more from other people's works. Why can it be widely accepted and respected by the public? Analyze the reasons behind it. For example, Yayoi Kusama's pop art and Kenya Hara's minimalism.
Finally, your attitude is very important.
Why do we appreciate Japanese and German designs? I think they are independent thinking, dedicated, rigorous, confident, detail-oriented and self-seeking. These qualities or work attitudes have made their designs, which can also be called ingenuity. We contemporary people are very impetuous now, and few people can calm down and concentrate on doing one thing and stick to it for a long time. Like our ancients, the aesthetics in the Tang and Song Dynasties were still quite high, and many artistic works with aesthetic feeling appeared.
Many of us like to use Apple's products, largely out of showing off and following the trend, but its products are really great. Apple's success is inseparable from Jobs' insistence on his own design philosophy. He can make desperate efforts to promote the realization of his ideas, dare to take responsibility, bravely adhere to himself, and constantly polish his products to the extreme.
For example, if you make a design draft, the project team may accept it, but your work may have been hovering around 6 points. When the project team can accept a 6-point work, you can pursue yourself, and you are willing to spend more time to reach 8 points, then your aesthetic level will be higher and the quality of your work will certainly be better. This is your personal pursuit.
Finally, I want to say that a real designer can lead the public aesthetic. I hope everyone can keep their original intention and ingenuity, not compromise easily, broaden the depth and breadth to think about product design, so that our final works can express high-level aesthetics.
