Is Jilin Beihua University one or two?
Beihua University consists of two universities.

Beihua University (hereinafter referred to as Beihua University) is the largest provincial key comprehensive university in Jilin Province. It is a university jointly established by the Jilin Provincial People's Government and the State Forestry and Grassland Bureau, the chairman of the Forest Health and Nutrition Society of Jilin Forestry Society, and the first batch of pilot universities in China to reform the training plan for outstanding doctors and talents in agriculture and forestry. The school is located in Jilin City. The current party secretary is Wang Yuzhu and the principal is Tong. The school motto is "Respect morality, be eager to learn and strive for self-improvement".

By the end of 20021and 10, the school had three campuses in the east, south and north and an affiliated hospital, covering an area of 2.684 million square meters (including the teaching and experimental base) and a construction area of 528,200 square meters. At present, there are 28 colleges, 1 engineering training center, 89 undergraduate majors and 20 first-class master's degree authorization points.

Master's degree authorization point 15 categories (fields), covering 1 1 disciplines, 2 national experimental teaching demonstration centers and 2 national off-campus practice bases for college students. Marxist College is the first batch of key Marxist colleges in Jilin Province, with 5 1 national and provincial scientific research platforms, 18 provincial innovation teams and full-time teachers.

Merger and formation:

1999 With the approval of the Ministry of Education, the former Jilin Normal University, Jilin Medical College, Jilin Forestry College and Jilin Institute of Electrification merged to form Beihua University, the largest provincial key comprehensive university in Jilin Province. In February 2004, with the approval of the provincial government, Jilin Agricultural Reclamation College and Agricultural Technology College of Beihua University merged to form Jilin Professional College.

In May 2007, the school integrated the original medical college, the First Clinical Medical College (affiliated hospital), the nursing college, the pharmacy college, the clinical laboratory, the life science and biotechnology laboratory and the biomedical research institute, and established the Medical Department of Beihua University.

On June 20 12, 12, the school was approved as the first batch of pilot universities in China for training outstanding doctors, and undertook two reform pilots, namely, "five-year clinical medical personnel training model reform pilot" and "rural order-oriented free undergraduate medical education personnel training model reform pilot".
