1, general admission eligibility
(1) Nationality (A or B)
A Both the applicant and his parents are foreign citizens.
-Neither the applicant nor his parents are Korean nationals.
-Special circumstances: If one of the parents of an applicant from Taiwan Province Province, China is of Taiwan Province nationality, he can also apply for admission in this way.
B. international students who have obtained a complete education from schools in other countries before applying for a degree.
-International students who have completed all 16 primary, secondary and university education in other countries except Korea (doctoral applicants also need to complete postgraduate education).
-There is no need to prove that both parents are foreign citizens.
(2) Language proficiency requirements (meet one of the requirements in A to D)
A. Reach Grade 3 or higher in the Korean Language Proficiency Test (TOPIK).
-In order to enter the degree program of dongguk university in the spring semester of 20 17, applicants who failed to reach Level 3 in the Korean proficiency test must submit their test scores before Wednesday, 20 17 and 18.
-Only valid test results are accepted.
B. Applicants who have obtained formal English language proficiency test results
-TOEFL score of 530 in written test, 197 in computer test, 7 1 in online test, 5.5 in IELTS test, B2 in CEFR test or 600 in TEPS test.
-In order to enter the degree program of dongguk university in the spring semester of 20 17, applicants without English language proficiency test scores must submit their test scores before Wednesday, 20 17 18.
-Only valid test results are accepted.
C departments and majors that do not need to submit language proficiency test scores are:
-Civil environmental engineering, architectural engineering, multimedia engineering, energy and materials engineering, pharmacy, oriental medicine, oriental life science (interdisciplinary specialty) and all departments of Nano Information Technology College.
D. Applicants from English-speaking countries
-The applicant has acquired the nationality of a country where English is the official language and has completed secondary education in that country. Applicants must submit a secondary school diploma (a junior high school or high school diploma, not a language proficiency test score).
2. Education
(1) master's degree
A. A bachelor of arts degree winner, or an applicant who will obtain a bachelor of arts degree in a university in Korea or other countries before February 20 17.
B. Students with the same academic qualifications shall be handled in accordance with relevant regulations.
C. students can apply for graduate students who are different from undergraduate majors.
D. The applicant's major is different from his previous undergraduate studies, and a certain number of undergraduate preparatory credits must be obtained after entering the school.
(2) Doctoral degree major
A. Master of Arts degree holders, or applicants who will obtain master's and bachelor's degrees in universities in Korea or other countries before February 20 17.
B. Students with the same academic qualifications shall be handled in accordance with relevant regulations.
C. Students can apply for majors different from those they studied at undergraduate or postgraduate level. However, such applicants need to obtain certain credits during the undergraduate or postgraduate preparatory period.
D. The applicant's major is different from the previous major, or he is a student of night school/special school, and he must obtain specific credits during his pre-master study.
(3) Master's degree and postgraduate degree.
A. A bachelor of arts degree winner, or an applicant who will obtain a bachelor of arts degree in a university in Korea or other countries before February 20 17.
B. Students with the same academic qualifications shall be handled in accordance with relevant regulations.
C. students can apply for graduate students who are different from undergraduate majors. However, such applicants need to obtain certain credits during the undergraduate preparatory period.
D. The maximum enrollment of master's freshmen (the first semester and the third semester) is limited to 20% of the enrollment of doctoral students.
E. Students who want to start their postgraduate studies in the third semester must register for a master's degree in the same major and have completed their master's degree studies in dongguk university for more than two semesters. Each department may have different admission requirements to meet.
F. The admission criteria for master's and doctoral degrees refer to the admission criteria for doctoral degrees.
3. Other requirements
(1) Oriental Medical College/Medical College
A. oriental medical college: only for graduates majoring in oriental medicine.
Exception: Students who can take part in full-time basic research and experiments, regardless of their previous major, may be eligible for admission as long as they have a recommendation letter from a professor at Dongdong University.
B. medical college: only medical graduates are enrolled.
Exception: no matter what major the applicant has previously majored in, as long as he has a recommendation letter from a professor at Dongkou University, he may be eligible for admission.
(2) Application for transfer
International students are not eligible to apply for transfer.
