Cheng Aimin's introduction
Cheng Aimin, male, was born in Jurong, Jiangsu Province in July, 1955. He studied in the Foreign Languages Department of Nanjing Normal University from 1975 to 1978, and was admitted to the English Department of Shanghai International Studies University on 1985 to study for postgraduate students majoring in British and American literature. He is a doctor and professor of English language and literature. He studied at Harvard University in the United States and was the College of International Culture and Education of Nanjing Normal University. He used to be director and deputy secretary-general of China Comparative Literature Society, executive vice president of China-US Comparative Culture Research Society, vice president of Jiangsu Comparative Literature Society, director of Jiangsu Foreign Literature Society, director of Jiangsu Translators Association and vice president of Nanjing Translators Association. He is currently the dean of the School of Overseas Education of Nanjing University.
