It is understood that Kyoto University was founded in 1897, formerly known as Kyoto Imperial University. After World War II, it was officially renamed Kyoto University. In 2004, it was reorganized into a national university, Kyoto University.
Opening to the outside world and attaching importance to international exchanges have become an important reason for the continuous improvement of Kyoto University's international reputation. Kyoto University sends nearly 100 graduate students to study abroad every year, but teachers go abroad to study, study, give lectures and attend international conferences, with more than1.5000 person-times every year.

Details of Kyoto University
It is understood that Kyoto University has the following three campuses:
Yoshida campus 1
Since its establishment, it has been located in the center of Kyoto University. It is divided into seven parts, carrying out various cutting-edge education and research activities while inheriting history and tradition.
2. Yuzhi Campus
The campus was built in the old military camp 1949. Mainly as a research institute of the Ministry of Natural Science and Energy, it has the most cutting-edge laboratories and technology development.
3. Guangxi Campus
The third campus of Kyoto University was newly built in June 2003. It consists of four districts and aims to become a new research and education place integrating science and technology.
