The origin of China University and the origin of the name "China University". According to Mr. Qian Mu's recollection, the establishment of the Chinese University by the Hong Kong Government has no special significance. The government considered other names, but time was short at that time. Chinese newspapers used to call this university the Chinese University, so the government used the term "Chinese University".
