Wuxi University, located in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, is a public undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education, managed by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, organized by the People's Government of Wuxi City and supported by Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology.

The school, formerly known as Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology Binjiang College, was founded in May 2002. On February 2nd, 20021year, the Ministry of Education issued a letter agreeing to the merger of Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology Binjiang College and Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology Binjiang College into Wuxi College.

As of June 2022, the school covers an area of 1 100 mu, with a total construction area of 335,000 square meters. At present, there are 14 teaching units, 6 master's majors (jointly trained with nanxin university) and 42 undergraduate majors.
