What are the psychological changes after entering the university?
Changes in the environment will inevitably affect people's psychological activities. For freshmen, stepping into the university gate marks the beginning of a new life, and everything begins to be explored, understood and experienced from a strange place. Based on the knowledge of college life and mental health, this paper makes a superficial discussion on the psychological changes of freshmen after entering school. To sum up, freshmen mainly have the following four kinds of psychology in the process of role transformation.

1 Target lost

After graduating from high school, I studied hard in the cold window and had no regrets, realizing the goal of "entering the university". After entering the university, no matter whether you are satisfied or dissatisfied with the goal you are pursuing, the new goal has not been determined, and you have no specific idea where you are going.

Be at a loss

The learning environment in universities is very different from that in junior and senior high schools, with great changes in management mode, teaching content, teaching methods and lifestyle. Students suddenly feel that they don't know how to read, attend classes, take notes, use the library, get along with new classmates and get in touch with teachers. Students who used to study well in junior and senior high schools may suddenly lose that feeling. Some students may feel that they have suddenly become an uncontrolled "free man" who can completely control their time, space and energy, and feel that they have grown up at once. But sometimes I doubt my independent ability and want to rely on someone but I can't, resulting in a sense of helplessness.

3 sense of falling out of favor

Many students are excellent in middle school. At the same time, they came to the university through the fiercely competitive college entrance examination, which was recognized and praised by their parents, relatives and society. They have a strong psychological self-awareness. However, after a period of time, they will find that their advantages do not exist in the new collective where talents gather. Some students are not the best, but they lag behind others in some ways. Because it is difficult to surpass myself in middle school, I feel depressed and bear a heavy psychological burden on myself for the expectations of teachers and parents.
