In my opinion, it's not how good freshman is, but when you settle in junior year, you will find changes in your values and attitude towards life, including feelings. . . Universities are easy to degenerate, and if you are not careful, you can step into your most chaotic track. The optimism, affluence, decency, positivity and courage in freshman life will give you many opportunities to change faster when you deal with many problems in the future.
Freshman is the most active year. You can form many habits that will benefit you for life in the future. For example, reading in the morning, exercising, grasping contacts, attitude towards elections or speeches, cultivating interests and so on. When you enter the junior year and start to step into the society, you will find that your English is not good, your professional courses are not good, and your emotional intelligence is not high. You haven't exercised in college, so it's impossible to start all over again. Many people who are about to graduate feel that the only thing they have learned in college is patience with nothing.
I know it's annoying to break up with my girlfriend and enter a period of emotional confusion. I just broke up with my boyfriend in May this year. Sadly, I can't get over it, and the postgraduate entrance examination has been stranded in half, so I have no intention to study. After a long adjustment, I finally understand that the truth is just those old sayings. Sometimes, many people come and go in life, even if they are sad, they are helpless. Life still has to be lived, except to make the future life more exciting and create insurmountable memories. After a long time, when you have a final life, you will find that all the people and things that come and go are irrelevant.
I still have some ideas about how to adapt to freshman year. There are many posts about this, which are actually correct and pragmatic. The important thing is to really do it and stick to it.
We must firmly believe that knowledge can change our destiny. University knowledge is not useless, but we don't need it. Achievement is never the focus, but it is one of the conditions for recruiters to stop and look at your resume in the future. That's what the college final exam is like. Some students don't study for one semester and get second-class scholarships in exams. But there is nothing to be proud of. Because you still can't know what you really should know.
Spend less time online. There are many things that universities can do. It depends on whether you dare to do it. Don't feel disdain for those who can prove your ability and those who can cultivate your ability, and don't feel that you can't do it for sure. If you don't do it, you will never know what kind of strength you are, and your ability will never improve. Don't do too much, but try your best to do everything you decide. University is the last place to give you a chance to fail. Make good use of it. From freshman year, it is important to learn to make friends and establish your interpersonal relationship. There is always a saying: 30% of a person's success depends on technology and 70% on contacts. It is not without influence. You will learn a lot while making friends, and fully demonstrate your ability and charm.
Don't stereotype yourself too early. When many people go to college, they pay too much attention to the usefulness of a thing and whether it is related to their major. Doing things too close has immediate benefits. This is not the third year of high school. Everything is for the college entrance examination, regardless of anything, just for the final result. Universities are not like this. The greatness of a university lies in its big ideas, big minds and big problems. Being bound by too many things is called dissident. It is very important for college students to fully explore their hobbies. Knowledge knows no borders, and there will always be inextricably linked. It is very likely that the thinking you have developed in a club or a hobby matches your major. Be an interesting person.
Of course, there are still many places worthy of attention and reference in universities. After you go to college, you will adjust your pace at any time as you know more about this field.
These are just some personal experiences. I hope LZ University can live a full and happy life in four years.
