Civil aviation university of china is now under the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and it is also a university jointly established by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the Tianjin Municipal People's Government and the Ministry of Education. It is a multi-disciplinary university focusing on engineering, management, science, economics, literature, law, art and other disciplines. It is a "double-first-class" construction university in Tianjin and a high-level characteristic university construction university.
The school has two main campuses, Tianjin Dongli Campus and Ninghe Campus, and three flight training bases, namely Chaoyang Flight Academy, Inner Mongolia Flight Academy and Xinjiang Tian Xiang Aviation Academy Co., Ltd., with a total area of 6,543,800 square meters and a total construction area of 874,000 square meters.
