Two. Introduction to yang-en university Yangen Foundation was founded by Mr. Wu Qingxing, a patriotic overseas Chinese, and his family, 1987. It is the first private university in China with the qualification of issuing national undergraduate diploma and bachelor's degree. The school covers an area of more than 2000 mu, and the campus is surrounded by mountains and waters with beautiful scenery. In 2008, it passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education with good results, and became the first private university in Fujian Province to pass the undergraduate teaching level evaluation. The school has successively won nearly 30 national, provincial and municipal honorary titles such as China Overseas Chinese Federation Patriotism Education Base, Fujian Education System Patriotism Education Base, Fujian Advanced College of Party Building and Ideological and Political Work, Fujian Safe Campus, Honest and Trustworthy Demonstration Unit and National Defense Education Characteristic School.
Yang-en university is directly affiliated to 8 colleges and 5 departments, and its enrollment majors cover 5 disciplines, including economics, management, literature, law and engineering. In recent years, the school has adhered to the orientation of running an application-oriented and teaching-oriented local undergraduate university, implemented the development strategy of "system reform and connotation construction", and combined theoretical teaching, practical teaching and innovation and entrepreneurship education to continuously improve the training quality of applied innovative talents in accordance with the school-running idea of deepening the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education as a breakthrough and comprehensively promoting the school's transformation and development. At present, the school is moving towards the grand goal of initially building an "open and international" modern university.
After years of efforts and exploration, the school has established a quality-oriented innovative education system with the goal of improving personality and quality, focusing on discipline and specialty construction, integrating the reform of talent training mode with social practice, scientific research and training, subject skill competition, student club activities, community service and other practical activities, and organically combining "adult" education with "talent" education.
The school strives to meet the needs of local economic and social development and industrial transformation and upgrading, strengthen the construction of disciplines and specialties, and streamline the direction of disciplines.
