At the beginning of sophomore year, the school will organize a professional examination. The registration for changing departments and majors will be held next semester, probably in May every year, so please pay attention. Each department will announce the number of students willing to enroll in that year, and you can choose your own major according to your actual situation. Relevant departments will select the best candidates to change their majors according to the examination results.

However, please note two points:

First, only freshmen with an average GPA of not less than 2.0 (equivalent to an average of 70 points in each exam) can apply for a major change;

Second, each subject has its own characteristics. Because you just passed the college entrance examination, you don't know much about the majors in the university. It is unwise to consider changing majors urgently now.
