The South Campus of Guangzhou Campus of Sun Yat-sen University is located in Haizhu District, by the Pearl River. Formerly known as "South Campus of Sun Yat-sen University" and located at "Kangleyuan", it is the original campus of Lingnan University. Kangle Park, Weiming Lake of Peking University and Luojiashan of Wuda University are also called the three most beautiful landscapes in China.
At present, Sun Yat-sen University consists of Guangzhou Campus, Zhuhai Campus and Shenzhen Campus, five campuses and ten affiliated hospitals. This school is a national "double-class", "985 project" and "2 1 1 project". Its predecessor was the National Guangdong University founded by Dr. Sun Yat-sen in 1924, and Sun Yat-sen University and Sun Yat-sen Medical University were established in 1952 respectively.
